How to grow hair faster!?

hello,i went to the hair salon yesterday to get a perm and the lady asked if i wanted a trim and i said no i'll come back for that another day. right before the process she turns my hair around and she starts cutting parts off!?!? i told her i didn't want it done again and she said that she cut too much off so she had to keep going. she put my hair in rollers and i waited. when she took my hair out its now like 4 inches shorter than it was before! even when i pull on the curls!! thats obviously not even a trim! im so upset. how can i make my hair grow faster? i take kids gummy vitamins (they taste good ! ) hahah should i take womens vitamins with like pre-natal stuff? please helpp!
