How can i get my dog to behave?

My dog teddy is a full blooded Australian Shepherd we got on June 28 2010.He was so small then but he has gotten bigger over the month and now hes our big baby,Anyways our dog Teddy always chews on the cords to anything electric.He chewed up my brothers battery charger,he chewed up my phone charger,and he chews up anything he can find that's chewable.He also barks at every tiny noise he hears.He's already potty trained and theirs no problems with that but i really need help with him or my mom will give him to the pound.What can i give to him to make him stop chewing on the cords?We give him bones but he loses them.I love Teddy a lot and i don't want anything to happen to him so please help!!!
