First time starting birth control...?

So I've never been on birth control before, but I am about to go on Femcon Fe, the chewable pill. I've heard that it makes you nauseas and will give you headaches. Does that stuff go away eventually? Or is this just a bad idea all together? Honest opinions please, I appreciate it! :)
