Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get a stubborn cat to eat a chewable pill?

you said its too big for her to swallow whole? can you break it up and make it easier to swallow? like break it into small pieces, put it in her mouth, gently hold her mouth closed (make sure you dont block her nose so she can breathe) and stroke her throat/neck causing her to swallow.. its hard to explain, im not saying be cruel to your cat. its almost the same technique as if you were to give her liquid medication.
